Perspective and experience are two words that could be used to describe Ted Douvlos' view on his career. His years of experience in the construction field have given him great perspective as he now finds himself managing construction projects.
Being able to view the entire spectrum of a project, from on-site to management, Ted's knowledge helps him move from the start of the bidding process, through the finer details, around any pitfalls and cruising to the finish. He keeps projects moving and on track.
It's not a coincidence that his favorite sport is auto racing, where the objective is simple: get from start to finish. In the construction business, Ted does it on a daily basis.
But he also realizes it's not always easy to achieve. The very first Daytona 500 he attended was Feb. 18, 2001 – the day Dale Earnhardt was killed in a wreck.
Today he has a hard time describing the feeling he had when he found out Earnhardt had died, but when asked what it is about the sport of NASCAR that compares to the construction industry he has his answer – hard work.
Hard work is what got Ted from an entry level construction job in the field right out of college to project manager at EHA. And with all the experience and perspective he's gained along the way, it's the EHA client partners that get to celebrate the checkered flag at a project's finish.
