La Quinta Inn Project

La Quinta Inn

Situation:

When major building construction planning gets interrupted, entire projects, careers and financial life savings can be at risk. That was the case with the $4.4 million La Quinta Inn of Stonington, Connecticut. The owner's architect left the drawings incomplete, dimming La Quinta's bright future.

Timeline:

The three-floor, 75-room, 45,600 sq. ft. hotel project was completed on time, in just under one year in July 2009.

Result:

EHA ensured that the grand opening date was met. EHA hired a professional architect and completed the project within budget. To accommodate the challenging logistics of the property's extremely small footprint, EHA employed a design with the added feature of an underground parking garage. With a savings of $300,000, EHA helped La Quinta live up to its mantra of "waking up on the bright side."
