Ario Rivera
Project Development

Like his father, Ario Rivera's passion is architecture and construction. But instead of drawing plans, he's driven by leads and landing perfect client partners.

If you heard that Ario graduated from Drexel University on a Saturday and by Monday was reporting to work at Eastern Hospitality Advisors, you might think he was ready to stop learning and start working. Not the case.

Ready to work, yes. Ready to stop learning, not a chance. He says he's still a sponge, absorbing as much knowledge as he can each day, from all of his co-workers. And it goes beyond what he needs to know for the job, like taking guitar lessons from President and CEO Douglas Vanstrom.

Ario believes success in the construction industry, and specifically in his role as director of Project Development, comes from a desire to keep learning and momentum from one project to the next.

With an architect for a father, Ario was always exposed to the business of building, but his passion wasn't in the design as much as it was in the deal. He's passionate about chasing a lead, landing the deal and helping a client partner through the construction process.

While most in the industry believe it's all about the four M's – materials, manpower, management and money – Ario prides himself on the relationships he builds with the blue- and white-collar workforce alike.

It's the relationships he cultivates and the knowledge he continues to gain that makes him the guy you need to know if you want to get your project done.
